Women were first to proclaim

Let me tell you about my mama. She was a registered nurse. When I was 11 years old on July 13, my left leg suddenly gave way. Within a week, I could not move a leg, foot, arm or hand. It even affected my voice. That's how polio works. After about six weeks, it slowly began to recede. In September, I was able to put a biscuit to my mouth for a new first time. I gradually learned to walk again. Mama rubbed, patted and exercised my body religiously. (Today this is called physical therapy.) Without Mama, I would not be here today.

When God made man, He started with a ball of clay. Maybe He lost His clay, or when He started to make His only Son, He wanted to do a better job so He started with a teenage virgin impregnated by the Holy Spirit.

When that Son rose from the grave, two women were the first to proclaim the word: "He is risen!"

Women have been the mother of every man, woman and child in this great nation.

If I were a woman, I would promise myself that I would never sleep in bed with any man who said or thought that I was inferior, second class, too stupid, or not good enough to spread the word of God from a pulpit or housetop or cradle.

If any man thinks his wife is inferior to himself, she should let him sleep alone in his holier-than-thou bed.
